Paid leave for everyone dealing with family additions or illness. Arizonans who work often do not have access to paid family and medical leave--it’s time to enact a system that allows Arizonans to take care of themselves and loved ones, and return to work with their job intact.
ACCESSIBLE JOBLESS BENEFITS
Arizonans need accessible jobless benefits that adequately cover the basics. Arizona makes it hard for workers with lower incomes to qualify for UI and the maximum weekly benefit is second-lowest in the US
at $240--it’s time to make Unemployment Insurance work better for more workers.
AFFORDABLE CHILDCARE
Every parent should have quality affordable childcare for their child. Only 1 in 12 Arizona families are able to afford childcare. Making childcare programs more accessible and affordable - especially for parents working non-traditional hours - will provide families with increased economic stability and educational development for their children.

JOBS THAT PAY WELL
Arizona's workers deserve jobs that pay well and have opportunities for advancement, and are safe and secure. Trade schools and CTEs have been cut by more than $30 million over the past decade; it’s time to prioritize skill-based training and mentorships.
